First of all, let's just address the elephant in the room:
I'm turning 35 this week.
Can you handle it? Because I'm not totally sure I can.
On one hand, I am more than content with what I've done and where I'm at for my age.
I really am so blessed to be in this family, to have the friends I have, to have been to the places I've been,
and experienced some really life changing things all along the way.
I wouldn't change any of it, there are few things I wish I'd accomplished that I haven't.
I'm grateful for this life, where I'm at in it, and what lies ahead.
But, I mean, do you remember being in high school and thinking about people who were 25 or 30 or - gasp - 40?
They were old. There lives were pretty much over.
And now, obviously, as a (semi) mature adult, you realize that was just kind of ridiculous
and if you had five minutes with your punky teenage self, you'd probably set them straight.
But I keep thinking about that for some reason.
So to get over any discontent with this number staring me in the face,
I've decided we should just party. Let's enjoy this week together, ok?
I've got some fun little things planned here and in the shop, so stay tuned.
And to kick this birthday week off, I'm starting with this free printable!
A little color and cheer and a reminder that sometimes you just have to stop whatever you're doing and have a little party.
Happy birthday week, lovelies - thanks for celebrating with me!
