Frances and I have been home since Friday and it has been nothing but lovely ever since.
The boys are in love, taking her in, looking out for her every time she makes a peep,
wanting to check on her all the time. Frances and her little protectors.
I am in awe of my husband who makes parenting four littles look so easy, who swoops in whenever there is a need or homework to help with, or a diaper to be changed. Who loves our girl with all the fullness of his heart.
Family and friends have come to express their love and excitement,
my sister has organized meals to be dropped off every night,
a shower is in the works.
As if I didn't already feel so blessed, we are being given grace upon grace as we find our footing as a family of six.
If all that wasn't enough, I got a little surprise on my instagram feed yesterday...
tears welled as I saw photo after photo from friends welcoming Frances home.
My heart was so full, so surprised, so overwhelmed at the support and outpouring of love we've received over the last week.
We are truly blessed.
Honestly, words cannot do justice to what is in my heart.
I am so grateful for this life, for my family, for my friends,
for God's faithfulness to us.
Thank you for being a part of that.
I think even Miss Frances would say thank you if she could.
She'd at least give you the best burp you've ever heard. She's pretty good at that.
