{thankful} for fall

Every Thursday I share what I am grateful for over the past week, and ask you to do the same. I love reading your stories, hearing your hearts, knowing that even in the midst of things that may seem hard, there is goodness.
It's November - can you believe it? And that means Thanksgiving is right around the corner.
Maybe now, more than any other time of year, we can reflect over the great things that we have in our lives every day.
Sometimes those things are obvious and grand, other times they are small and nearly undetectable. Either way, they're there. Looking for the things in our lives that deserve gratitude can shift our entire way of thinking.
Will you join me this month in sharing those things? I'd love to hear what has brought you joy - whatever it may be. Sharing in each other's blessings can help us to see our own.
I can't wait to share in your thankfulness!

I love fall.
The gorgeous colors, rainy days,
cute boots, bright tights,
excuses to bake, hearty steamy soups on the stove,
movies in the afternoon,
fires in the fireplace,
the anticipation of Christmas,
cozy sweaters,
snuggly beds,
heavy coats and fun galoshes,
holiday parties,
hot coffee in the morning,
a season to reflect on blessings,
family time,
hot chocolate with whipped cream,
silly slippers and footie pajamas.

There is no doubt that this is my favorite time of year. This week, today, I'm grateful for the tangible sense of the changing of the seasons and the anticipation of the most joyous time of year. My heart is happy.

Now it's your turn! Grab a button, link up, and go meet some fun new friends. Share in each other's good things and have a wonderful week!
