best four days ever. (well, mostly.)

When I had the idea to take our oldest to Disneyland for his 5th birthday,
my husband wasn't super enthused.
He isn't that into traveling, and he'd never been to Disney,
so I guess I understand his hesitation.
But being the awesome, amazing husband that he is, he agreed to go.
And then I booked tickets five minutes later, so there couldn't be any waffling.
We landed midmorning, and were just going to spend the first day relaxing,
but I wanted to kick it off with a bang so we went straight to Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel for brunch.
Obviously, Lute was overwhelmed with excitement.
The more surprising thing was Nick. Five minutes into brunch he was planning our next trip to the happiest place on earth.  Apparently he's a convert.
My sweet Lute came down with a high fever the night before we left,
so our first two days were slow, with plenty of naps and breaks as he got better.
But that last day?
The best ever.
Here are a few glimpses into our 5th birthday adventure!

yep, i think he liked it.
