a few more details...

In eager anticipation, I called the agency today.  Since our homestudy is almost done, I wanted to get some details clarified so that the future isn't quite so hazy...

Debbie, the woman who oversees minority adoptions, is seriously so nice.  I am so excited to be working with her.  She gave me more info as far as what to expect once the baby is born and how long we will need to be in Georgia (up to 3 weeks).

I asked how long the waiting list is right now and she said it was about "average", which is totally vague, but I understand.  But she said that because we aren't specifying a gender and we are open racially, she expects it won't be a long wait.  The average is 6-9months.   My oh my...

The next item on the agenda is our Lifebook.  My goal is to have the master copy done by the end of the weekend.  Time to stop procrastinating!
